We've been non-stop on the computer since church today, and we are both worn out! Jack had some quiz to do for work, then we buckled down and finished our Birth Parent letter for our adoption application. We are now officially done with all our online stuff - yay! We just have the home study left, then approval should come soon after. So hopefully within a few weeks we'll be good to go. We'll keep you all posted!
Then it was on to Jack's resume and cover letter. It's been so long since I've had to do any of that stuff! He's looking into some jobs, and we wanted to make sure everything looked good. So that took awhile, and a lot of my perfectionistic nitpicking...but hey, it should pay off in the long run, right?
But whew! What an afternoon! It's most definitely time for bed. (And I didn't even get to a few other things I wanted to do, like NYC planning/buying tix, and gathering tax info.) I did, however, write in my journal, work on scrabooking, and read a little of the Ensign (plus church of course), so there was some holiness in my Sabbath. :)

Congrats! Writing that letter was such a stressful pain for us! There was a point where I just didn't care anymore and wanted it off my shoulders! Our case worker wanted us to change some things and I nicely said, "No." Give us a break and we'll look at it again in a few months!!
