I just have to say that I'm glad to see Russell won - he was my favorite to win way back when the show began. Of course I would have loved to see one of the Utah natives win, but I was just glad both Ashleigh and Ryan made it to the finale together. I didn't really think they deserved the title, though, and I just love Russell's krumping.
I did think the finale was a little anti-climatic. Not as exciting as in years past. I'm not sure if this had to do with Russell getting hurt, the sound problems, Leona Lewis' poor performace (even though I love her!), or the short performace finale the night before. Maybe it was just me, but it was just not as exciting.
And another comment from the show: I was bummed to learn that Adam Lambert sings "Whataya Want From Me?" because I love that song! I'd heard it on the radio once and liked it (and a small part of me wondered if it was Adam Lambert singing it), and ever since he sang it on SYTYCD I've been trying to find it on the radio. I was definitely Team Kris Allen when it came down to American Idol's finale, and then Adam's AMA performace really made me not like him. But I have to say I like this song, and his SYTYCD performace was really good. So I will definitely be listening to this song a lot, in spite of the fact that Adam Lambert is not my favorite. :)

Somehow I never responded to your email. (Thanks for the Hawaii stuff by the way :). The finale wasn't my favorite either. I actually really wanted Kathryn to win - and thought she would! She and Jakob I thought were the two best, Russel was probably third for me. Oh well, still fun :)
