I did the final check-out/walk-through at our apartment tonight, and honestly it's sad to be leaving that place! We did great on the walk through which was good (thanks Mom for all your help cleaning!). But we've lived there for over four years - much longer than anywhere else we've ever lived - and have had some great memories there, so it's weird to be moving on. I guess that's why we take pictures and write things down, so our memories are never lost. I do kind of like change, though, and it is exciting to be setting off on our next adventure. I just wish I knew a little more about where this next adventure we'll take us, like, say, where we'll live this summer. I don't ask much. :) But oh well - change is change, and here we go!
And speaking of change, that reminds me of a great Calvin and Hobbes comic strip I just read. Calvin tells Hobbes that he thrives on change, and Hobbes argues that Calvin just freaked out that morning after his mom put a little extra jam on his sandwich. Calvin then clarifies, "I thrive on making other people change." So funny. This just may be one of the best Calvin and Hobbes comic strips ever.

Wow! I can't believe you were really there for four years! I hope that the rest of the change goes smoothly!
