You Know You're Too Much of a Planner When...

1) Your husband can't keep track of the trips you've planned for the upcoming year.

2) Your husband sets aside a secret stash of money when you go on trips so he can have some extra cash around for whatever he wants. Because if he told you about the money, you'd plan out exactly where all that money will go on the trip, leaving no extra fun cash.

3) You've been known to make up itineraries for vacations, even including times.

4) When having idle conversations with your husband, you love to talk about things you've planned and other fun stuff you want to plan.


Sometimes Jack is just dumbfounded by my excessive planningness, but I remind him (sarcastically) that it's so sad he has a wife who makes him go do all this fun stuff! :)

On that note, here are some fun things I'm looking foward to this summer/fall:

-Moab trip (we'll try river rafting for the first time, and go horseback riding which Jack has never done)
-No Doubt concert
-trip to Las Vegas (and I am SO EXCITED because I just found out that there is a Grimaldi's Pizzeria in Vegas - SWEET!)
-overnight camping trip to Bryce Canyon (hopefully - this one isn't set in stone)
-camping in Rock Canyon
-trip to Cancun with Erica
-Bear Lake with the fam, including some jet skiing!
-Lagoon with the fam
-many, many visits to Seven Peaks Water Park
-Freedom Festival 5K with Jack and Alisa

I love having good stuff to look forward to - maybe that's why I'm such a planner!
