I've recently decided - I'm ready to settle down. As in get a house and a dog (probably a lab). And I'm hoping this will happen within the next 6 months to a year. I don't hate condos, and lately I've actually been enjoying the fact that we rent and don't have to pay for repairs ourself. But I really would enjoy being able to unload my groceries from the garage and not having to hear the tiny tots playing around downstairs at 11pm. (BTW - who lets their little 3 year-old and 1 year-old stay up that late, anyway???)
And we've been wanting a dog, like probably a medium to large sized dog, but that obviously can't happen until we have a yard for it to play/live in (I don't know how well Toby and a dog would get along).
Jack's got pretty close to 900 hours, so only 100 more to go until he can start applying for other jobs! Have I mentioned that I really detest his current company? Like REALLY detest them even more as of late? That's all I'll say so I don't get myself in trouble (and let's be honest, I could go on for hours), but I cannot wait until he works for a "real" company. :)
So wish me luck that we'll be outta here within a few months!!

Wow, crazy! I'm excited for you but sad at the same time. It will just be weird without you in Utah! We won't be back until next summer and it sounds like you may be gone by then. Bummer about the company problems though - that will definitely be good to get away from.
