The randomness that is my life

1) I like to post random stuff.

2) Now that we know you can buy rice pudding at the grocery store, we go through that stuff like water!

3) It's really embarassing when your visiting teachers are over, and Toby's sitting right in front of them licking his butt. And then he looks up with this nasty stink face (you would just have to see it). But I can't blame him - I'm sure his butt tastes nasty! But it was so funny - luckily I was able to hold the laughter in (it was the first time I'd met these people, after all).

4) One of the more interesting parts of my job is telling clients that their labs came back and they tested positive for an STD. Chlamydia is the thing to have these days, I tell ya!

5) Talking about jobs, I'm considering going back to school for a masters in nursing. Considering, as in, the lightest form of considering there is. But wouldn't it be cool if I could prescribe meds/do psychotherapy, or call myself a college professor?

6) I also think getting a degree in travel/leisure would be fantastic. Does such a thing exist?

7) I think the world would be a better place if people could grasp the idea of "moderation in all things." C'mon, people!

8) I think it's cute when Jack's curled up reading a good book, especially when it's a book about an animal (The Art of Racing in the Rain). :) Thanks for the suggestion, Alisa! I also think it's cute when Jack calls mochi "goat cheese" when we're ordering at Red Mango, when he asks me how I got so pretty (to which I respond, "makeup"), when he and Toby are playing, how he always lets me have the last bite of whatever we're eating, etc. Case in point: my husband's awesome.

9) I'm loving books these days.

10) I would really like a Mac. But even so, when we get our promised bonuses at work later this year, I fully intend to spend it on a trip and not a Mac. Would you expect any less from me?
