1) I am loving The Office. A bit behind the times, I know. When it was more newish, I thought it was weird. Then more recently, I've caught some episodes and thought they were funny, but just never got really hooked. But now we're going without cable and doing the whole Netflix thing, and you can watch almost all the seasons of The Office on Instant Play! So almost every night we sit down and watch a few, or more than a few. Funny stuff, and are Jim and Pam going to get together? Okay, I know they get married and have a baby, but it's still fun to watch.
2) The ants are still gone, and I am ever so grateful. I swear we're not dirty people.
3) I have the most awesomest family ever. I recently got to see my immediate family, plus lots of extended family, while attending the festivities in Utah this week (Christa's wedding and Evie's sealing). I am so lucky to have such wonderful parents. My siblings are also awesome, and my nieces are the cutest! And while some of my extended family are a tad crazy (Exhibit A: the prolonged un-toast given at Christa's wedding brunch), most of them are just wonderful, kind, fun, thoughtful people. I'm a lucky person, and I just with I could see them more.
4) In church today, we were talking about Proverbs, and one that was mentioned was something about "Sleep late and miss out, or wake up and enjoy the bread." Yeah, that is some major paraphrasing. Anyways, Jack looks at me and says something like, "No way. That happened to me this morning!" Sure enough, he woke up to some fresh homemade bread today. But he slept late and got the bread. Not sure how that works, but he says it's because he's cool.
5) I need to figure out how to work cable TV into the budget before college football officially starts.
6) The people in the old days had it so easy. Take a trip, take pictures, put them in a photo album. These days it's ridiculous! Take a trip, take pictures, upload to Facebook, blog them, get actual prints made, then make cutesy, embellished, expensive, detailed scrapbook pages. It's just too much.
7) Pinkberry needs to come to Las Vegas. I just emailed them and told them so.
8) We could also use a Sprinkles here, and definitely a Kogi truck.

I love your thought on taking trips and then dealing with pictures! So true! However, in those "good ol' days," none of your far-away friends would be able to see all about your fun travels! :) That frozen yogurt sounds really good! Anytime you need a Pinkberry fix, there's one in NYC! :)
