Facebook has gone too far (or at least the users have...)

Okay, remember the whole "Should-Be Rules of Facebook?" Well, today I've been blown away by how far Facebookers are going with this check-in thing, thus prompting the most important rule yet:

1) Don't check-in. Anywhere. Unless it's outright hilarious; I mean hands-down-no-question-about-it-even-my-no-nonsense-90-year-old-college-professor-would-think-it's-funny type of check-in. For example, "Katie is at The Outhouse on Mt. Timp." Otherwise, just don't check-in. And most importantly people, DO NOT CHECK IN AT THE TEMPLE. Yes, sadly I saw this today on Facebook. And it is ridiculous! Sorry, but I can't handle it. Too much of a "holier than thou" feel, and just inappropriate for Facebook. Keep that to yourself. Going to the temple should be a sacred, personal experience. It's just not meant for the world of Facebook.

Oh, and I'm sure stalkers love the whole "checking in" thing. Just sayin'.
