Professional Organizer

I once had a teacher (the legendary Mrs. DeFelice) who told me her dream job would be to work as a professional organizer. If you know her, this makes perfect sense. But the older I get, the more I realize that I think this would be my dream job as well!

Lately my organization gene has been in overdrive. Here are my recent creations:

1) a house chores/cleaning chart for myself

2) an Excel spreadsheet for our 2008 earnings, taxes, and tithing (I'm really impressed with myself on this one - if I enter how much I got on a certain paycheck, it will calculate how much total I've made for the year, how much total tithing is owed, and how much I currently owe on tithing - amazing, I know!)

3) A Family Home Evening Schedule through April, complete with weekly lesson themes and who will be teaching

4) a check-off list for my New Year's Resolutions (including a chart for the daily goals, weekly goals, and monthly goals, plus a list of those extra goals that don't really fit into a schedule...)

Yeah, I think I'm a little crazy, but I enjoy it! I think all of this organiztion will help me to get things done, and having a new, working computer really helps with all this stuff! (Okay, the computer's not that new, but it's still a great tool!) Now I'm off to go work on my next organizational project: a budget and financial overview for the next ten years (I'm not even kidding)! This girl likes to plan!

I know - perpetuating those OCD traits! But at least I'm putting them to good use. :)

Can you get me one of those family home evening charts too?
