Wal-Mart - a huge Valentine's Day cliche
On Thursday I joined the throngs of people who had to make a list-minute dash to Wal-Mart on Valentine's Day, and really it was hilarious. I was picking up ingredients for dinner, so the aisles I needed really weren't that crowded, which was nice. But while looking at the cards I saw a man and woman standing there as well, and the man was holding a bright red teddie. Yeah, gross. Guys were everywhere, trying to find a good bouquet from the already picked-over flowers. Some of the guys had balloons, and this kind of cracks me up. A balloon in and of itself - why is this considered a gift? Then as I was walking to my car in the parking lot, I saw the final cliche: a guy literally running through the parking lot towards the store, obviously in a huge hurry to pick up something, anything, that would count as an acceptable gift. At this point I started laughing.

I laughed out loud at your post. IT was great. I am new to this blogging stuff...you are giving me great ideas.
Valentine's in Provo! Yessss!
The older guy holding the lingerie totally reminded me of you! How, you ask? Well, you always talk about how Victoria's Secret is such a dirty place around Christmas - all these old men buying skimpy little things for their wives - eww!
