What a Heartbreaker!

Tonight after our Family Home Evening lesson, I told Jack our activity was going to be a new game I made up called "Memory." Basically, each of us had to think of a fun or funny memory that involved the two of us. I think it's fun, especially since we've been together so long that it's easy to forget some of the things we've done. I thought we would each do one memory. So we took our turns, and then Jack couldn't stop coming up with memories. It was really funny, and I even learned some new things about our little one-month hiatus (when Jack broke up with me because I said I would kiss Justin Timberlake if I could...big mistake, and I'm glad we made it past that little obstacle in the road!). I guess lots of girls in his BYU ward liked him (word got out quick that he was single). Luckily for me (but not for those girls) he didn't like any of them, but he had some pretty funny stories about girls likeing him (one gave him a bunch of corn on the cob - romantic, huh?). And we were reminiscing about the good old days in Lake Charles when he gave a girl in the ward 18 roses in the middle of Sunday School! So funny... then we got to talking about the girls who did like him (as we all know, the 18 roses didn't quite work with that one girl...). I even made a pact with my friends (I won't mention specific names here, so as to protect the innocent) that none of us would date Jack so it wouldn't start trouble among us! So funny. I think we'll have to play this game again sometime.

Love that for a FHE activity. I may use it myself. By the way, who did he give the roses to. I never heard that one. :)

Okay, so I've been such a slacker on this one since I don't have this blog linked to mine. I figured it was better that way, but I'm way behind on reading and comments. First of all, WOW to the organization! I love it, too, but I'm way behind ya! :) Second, great quotes. Third, I'm glad people are giving you the props you deserve for your work. Fourth, Alan and I did the reminisce activity recently too...sooo funny. What good memories there are. Oh, and on the combined organization and reminiscing thoughts, I was going through old stuff and found the great picture collage book you gave me. Good for the soul! And by the way, I think this may very well be the longest blogging comment I've ever written (for sure) or that ever was written (okay, probably not). :)

Linzy Caple was the lucky recipient of the roses in Sunday School - really it was hilarious. :)

Sharon - You'll have to show me that picture book I made sometime. I bet it's pretty darn funny. It reminds me of when you, Jen, Kati, and I got together at my apartment and spent hours looking at old pictures - such hilarious memories! :)
