This weekend has been surprisingly productive! This year I've felt pretty much off my game with the whole Christmas thing. I don't know what it is, since I'm down to just one job, but I haven't felt as prepared and organized for Christmas. But never fear! With lots of shopping on Black Friday, and lots of free time over the weekend, I'm pretty much done with my Christmas shopping! Sweet! There are a few things I still need to pick up, but I know exactly what they are. No more figuring out what to get people.
AND...I ordered our Christmas cards! Plus, thanks to Costco, they're already ready to be picked up. Gotta love that quick service. Our little letter to go with them is in progress, so hopefully within the next week or so I'll get them all mailed out. No homemade cards this year...maybe next year! :)
There's still plenty left to do (mail off packages, make dessert for Jack's Christmas party, gifts to exchange at work, parties to go to, etc.), but I'm getting there! And as a bonus, ordering gifts is almost like an early Christmas - even though the gifts aren't for me, I'm totally excited to get them in the mail. Who doesn't love getting a package?
Oh, and I've read through the Kauai section of my travel book, so I'm making progress with this whole vacation planning thing, too! Is it possible to visit 6 beaches in 3 days? I sure hope so!
