Things that make me laugh out loud

Wow, it's been quite a while since I've updated this blog! I guess I have some good excuses, like moving out of state, 7 out-of-state trips, keeping my other blog updated, etc. Anyways, I'm in Utah visiting right now and thought of some funny memories that make me laugh (and that I don't want to forget):

1) "The Toothbrush"
While in Moab at our family reunion, there was an incident with Ryan's toothbrush. I was an innocent observer, but the other person in the story will remain nameless. :) Anyways, Ryan and myself and a few other people were sharing one bathroom. Nothing like family togetherness, right? Anyways, I was going into the bathroom to take a shower while *nameless* was leaving the bathroom after having just showered. I noticed that she picked up a toothbrush off the ground and set it on the counter. Kind of gross, but it wasn't mine. Anyways, later Ryan asks *nameless* and I if we know how his toothbrush moved from one side of the sink to the other. I said I didn't know, but that I did notice *nameless* pick a toothbrush up off the ground. She then states that it (turning out to be Ryan's toothbrush) fell onto her underwear on the floor, and that she put it back up on the counter. Okay, that's bad. So then I ask, "Was your underwear dirty, or clean?" Well, the answer was not clean, lol. So poor Ryan was disgusted, and I was laughing until I cried. Needless to say, the toothbrush was replaced. But good for Ryan for noticing that his toothbrush had moved - way to be observant! If he hadn't noticed, I'm pretty sure no one would have said anything. And well, that just would have been gross.

2) "The Snow Cone"
Jack and I had shave ice while in Hawaii a few years ago, and LOVED it. So when we found a shave ice place in Provo, we had to try it out. Well, one day I went to Seven Peaks (Jack didn't want to go), so on the way back I thought I'd grab some shave ice and bring it home. I ordered a medium, and well, it turned out to be an extra extra large medium. It was huge! So then I'm trying to drive home, holding this HUGE shave ice in one hand, letting it drip onto my beach towel, and just hoping it didn't make a bigger mess than that. It ended up being okay, but it was pretty darn funny. I'm thinking Jack was pretty surprised when I walked into the apartment with such a huge shave ice creation, having just driven home with it. But sometimes I'm pretty cool like that.

3) "The Prank"
Jack has a good friend that he has lots of fun with, but sometimes when they get together it's like they're in high school again. Jack did some pretty good pranks back in good 'ole LC (trash can on top of a house, high school bleachers in a front yard, etc.) So one night the two of these got together when we lived in Provo (just a year or so ago, so not long ago at all). They found some construction cones near a parking lot and used them to divert traffic off of a main road into a parking lot behind an apartment complex. But the path they made with the cones just dead-ended, so he said it just ended up a lot of cars all backed up in a line in this parking lot, stuck and not sure what to do. I'm sure I would have been really mad if I got trapped in there, but thinking about it makes me laugh. :)

Hmmm . . . didn't BOTH of those "great pranks" happen to the SAME person?! :)
