I think I'm on candid camera...

...because I'm on the phone with United Airlines about my missing luggage, and the guy has asked me FOUR SEPARATE TIMES what my flight number was! Um, how many different ways can you say 6069??? Then, after all this, he tells me that he can find no record of my flight. Okay, I guess I'm making up the fact that I flew from San Francisco to here. I mean, now that I think about it, maybe I just walked. Who knows, because I feel like I'm just that crazy!

So then the guys gives me a different number to call. And this number says that for baggage problems, you have to call the original number I called. I hate dealing with businesses. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

It could be worse - they did actually find my baggage and I have it. So what is it that I'm calling about, you ask? Well, the fact that they broke my bag and that over $100 of clothes are missing from the said bag. Just little tiny things. And you have to make the complaint within 24hrs. And the number I have to call is now closed for the day. Oh well - guess Jack gets to take care of it tomorrow!

I'm ready for the camera and all the laughs right about now...

Oh Katie, that's terrible! At least you've got a pretty good fight. I've worked up a sweat lecturing people on the phone before. Good luck!

Man! Good luck getting them to reimburse you for that! It's so rotten when things like that happen.

You poor thing!!! Best of luck!! Maybe if you keep track of your time spent on the phone you can bill them for it...I read an online article about how some guy on the East Coast did that. Pretty cool!

Should I tell you about the time I thought it would be good to put my cash in my bag so I wouldn't lose it? Lost about $100. Really not very smart huh. But you'd like to think people are more honest than that. Sorry to hear about your clothes! I would definitely file a complaint with the airline. which one was it?
